I finished reading Behind the Bedroom Wall, its a story about a girl Korinna, and her parents hid a family of jews in her room behind her closet during the war. It is similar to Night because it is about the holocaust and like Night, it goes in detail about what happened and how it happened. In my companion book children were spit on and kind of abused like in Night. It shows how the soldiers unfair and how poorly they treated the jews. In my companion book the family hiding in the bedroom is like Elie Weisel because they were all survivors. The rescuers in Behind the Bedroom Wall were Korinna's parents, and in Night the rescuers were the SS soldiers.
My opinion has not changed at all. My first thoughts was that Tom Buchanan is the worst character, and i still believe that. Tom is a smart man and he can do and be friends with anyone he pleases. He knows how to control people and he can make them believe anything he says. Tom knew that Gatsby didn't hit and kill Myrtle, but he still moved to save himself and Daisy. Tom is by far the most dangerous character in the book.
I had feminism as a lens theory, to me that was on of the easiest topics because the author, Fitzgerald, did a good job on putting a lot of examples throughout the book. If i could change, I would not pick a new topic.
i think the most dangerous character is Tom Buchanan because he is cheating on his wife and he already broke a girls nose for mentioning Daisy's name. who knows what other damage he could do?
