I am reading The Book Thief and its about a girl named Liesel who starts to steal books to read, during WWII in Nazi Germany. I have noticed that just as Elie lost his father due to the internment camp so did Liesel. She is forced to live with a foster family who are dirt poor and don't have a lot, just like Elie did when he was in the camp. Elie took extra food whenever he could get a chance, Liesel would look high and low for a new book to steal to read. Liesel is a survivor to be taken care of by her new foster family.
The lens theory I had was Psycho-Analysis and it was difficult to find examples to use. If I changed my theory, it would be Marxism because it is more common throughout the book.
I still think that Daisy is the most dangerous person in this book. She murders someone in a hit-and-run and flees the scene. She has acted very self-centered throughout the book and it has lead her into a destructive path. She has decided that she can get away with anything she wants to and she pushes that around the end of the book. She is a dangerous character.
Daisy has to be the most dangerous character. She seeks to get attention in the most self-centered way. I don't think she will come back into story, after not hearing much of her for a long time, in a good way.
