Rose laughed. Just like the good old days before- A thought came to her mind. "Doctor...I have to go back, don't I?" she asked with seriousness as the Melody strolled off without them, feeling a bit like a fourth wheel. If things were back to how they were, would she be left again? She thought of Bob. At least her cat could keep her company...right?

((Always is, yes. :) Oh that's cool! It'll be nice when you can get yourself to school and everything haha. But to move out so soon? Wish I could have.))

Rose didn't quite believe him, but for the moment, she didn't care. This was the Doctor! He was back by her side at last! And it really was great to see Jack again.

From ahead, the Melody called back to them. "You three lovebirds coming or not??"

((Aw, that's too bad. :( But I understand the invasion of privacy thing. I'd be ticked.If you wanna vent about it, feel free. Good to hear about marching band. How's the rest of freshman year? :) I'm sure you just started, but all the same.

Pretty decent on my end actually. I've been getting together with my friends a tad bit more, which is nice. My hours at work are picking back up, but I'm still not getting my 40 hours a week, which kinda sucks since I'm trying to move out. Almost two months ago I ended up dating one of my best friends from work and it's still all going pretty well (I'm shocked with myself - normally I'd have chickened out nearly right away). Got my permit around then too. Finally. Aaaaand I'm hoping to have my first car by this summer.))

((Back!! Took longer cause we had to go get some necessities and then I ate and recapped. :3 How's life going??))

The Melody rolled her eyes and walked past them. "Yes. Let's."

Rose looked up to the Doctor. "Is she alright...?" she asked curiously, not quite sure what to make of her yet.

Rose's cheeks went light pink and she grinned to tease Jack. "Being someone that flirts with everything with a postage stamp, that's hardly a compliment, Jack," she pouted jokingly, casting a look to the Doctor with amusement. She had used his line, after all.

((That's alright - life has been a bit weird on my end lately, so I haven't been on much. I'll try being more active.))

The Melody just looked at the group, confused. So this other Timelord really knew his way around, didn't he? He was quite a bit more popular than she would have thought.

Rose grinned and opened her arms for a hug. "Jack! Long time no see!"

Rose was watching the sky, not paying attention.

The Melody raised an eyebrow and gently kicked her in the shin. It worked, cause she looked at her in disbelief and rubbed her ankle.

"Ow! What was that for?"

The Melody shrugged. "To get you back down here. It's not like I got you hard..."

Rose rolled her eyes and leaned against the Doctor as she looked back at the sky and finally answered the Doctor's question. "Not yet... Not without closing it like last- " She shook her head. "No, I've got nothing."

She tilted her head. "What about those clouds...? She," the Melody nodded at Rose, "was sucked through simply by accident. If we don't do anything to get rid of it, something else or someone else can get through from either place."

((HA! XD New Earth is one of my favorite episodes. "I'm beating out a samba!!" X'D But the acting in Doomsday was "brilliant." < YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?))

The Melody looked from the Doctor to Rose, and back then forth again, unsure. She didn't want to get in their way; they did look rather close... She scratched the back of her head hesitantly. "I..."

((6 years of music class (elementary school) and 6 years of choir (junior high through high school). Couldn't do without. But I've had teachers like that and I hate it. I had this one math teacher even, who would teach one thing, give us the test, but when you would do what our notes said, you'd still get the wrong answer unless you were some sort of super genius. Did I mention the tests were open notes, to top it off? Ugh. As for what the school likes, every school likes something different. The last high school I went to was really big into theatre and choir. We had six or seven choirs cause there was so many of us!))

"Didn't think so..." she pondered, then smiled at the younger timelord.

The Melody stood and brushed snow off herself, then smiled. "Rose, huh? Nice to meet you!"

"Well it's nice to meet you too. So...are you his newest companion?" she asked, casting a glance at the Doctor.

((I was super lucky if I even got that. XD So I'd say you're pretty smart. XD I personally hated geometry... But that's just me, the one who did better in choir, lunch, and literature in that order. XD))

"Styled it?" she asked, a bit surprised. "Are you able to style yours?"

"A TARDIS??" she double checked quietly. "Does it look like...like yours?"

The Melody began to roll her snowball around to make an even bigger one.

((I'm a time zone ahead of ya - it's 1:44 lol. But oh boy... Fun indeed XD I was never skilled in math haha. I ended up taking algebra twice. XD))

Rose's jaw dropped as she looked back at him. "Another? I thought you were the only one left? With the Master gone and all..."
