14563 I always thought Wren was a man, too. What makes people think he is not?

14563 I think having an actor in good shape, misses one of the points of Pendergast. When you first see him, I always felt that his athletic ability was a surprise. You were not supposed to realize how well he could handle himself so that was part of his awesomeness when he kicked your butt and everyone else with you.

14563 So true. The accent is such a key part. I just imdb'd the actor who played Reese Witherspoon's husband in "Sweet Home Alabama" for the accent, but Josh Lucas may be whole package. Right age, right accent (not sure if it's real or not)and with lighter hair....Hmmm and I was so sure Benedict Cumberbatch was right.

I think Keira Knightley would be a good Constance or Emily Blunt (Young Victoria) and Gwyneth Paltrow as Wren.

What do you think?

14563 I have been thinking who could play Pendergast and really was having trouble with the look being so pale, but yet, I felt, had to be attractive, until I saw Benedict Cumberbatch in a trailer for "The Fifth Estate" with really blonde hair. It just clicked, perfect for Pendergast. The long, lean, elegance as well as the good looks.
