Alexia ran her hand along the spines of the books. She picked a random one of.the shelf and read the back, not really processing the words.
"That wasn't rude at all," Alexia muttered. She sighed and turned to the shelf of books, looking it up and down.
Alexia walked towards the back of the store, wondering if Derek would be there again. Instead, she saw Emma. "Hello," Alexia said, feeling like socializing. "I'm Alexia."
Alexia walked into the book depot, humming under her breath.
