148497 What a great read! I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a little mystery. Just a really great story overall.

As someone else mentioned, I didn't care that much for the narrator. I found her shyness and meek behavior rather annoying; however, I also appreciated how she became more assertive once she had to experience something so dramatic.

One other observation... when the narrator would delve into her mind, imagining how various plots may play out, with all that drama, I kept thinking about Lorelei. I don't think the two characters are alike in any way, other than this specific little nuance. Did anyone else pick up on this?

148497 This book is new to me. I just read the summary and some of the reviews... really looking forward to reading it. I need to finish Sense and Sensibility first, and then I'll grab this one from the library.

148497 I'm still chugging along, about 2/3 of the way through. I find Marianne sort of comical, just in her overly dramatic way. I sure hope there will be a happy ending for Elinor.

148497 For all those in the pro Logan and Rory camp (me!!!), here's a list of books I came across today featuring stories supposedly similar to theirs. Has anyone read any of these? Any recommendations?

148497 I just finished this one, which was new to me. I'm sure this book could be analyzed in several different ways, but I just took it sort of literally...a story about a war experience and it's effect on a person. Not my favorite, and I probably won't read it again, but may flip through another Vonnegut book at some point. It was a quick read.

148497 Hi All! I'm Erin from Maryland, and my husband and I are currently re-watching Gilmore Girls. I'm a stay-at-home mom to our 2 year old. While watching the series again, I wondered if there was a list of all the books Rory had read. Lo-and-behold there are several, as well as book groups such as this one. Yay!
I talk and read in a lot of "toddler speak" right now, and felt it was time to dive back into some literature, so here I am. I don't have a lot of time (does anyone?), but I'm going to try to dive right in and keep up.
