I'm in. In the library catalog it says it is about destroying books and possessing books is illegal. I'm very curious what this is about.

Just started reading. So far So good :)

So, I just finished. I gave it 3 stars. It was an easy read, but a bit too bloody for my taste ;)

This will be my first SK. I think I so the movie but I don't remember what it was about, so that helps :)

Just finished. I really liked the stories in this book. I wonder if the relationships between the Chinese mothers and the Chinese-American daughters is so different from other, non-Chinese mother-daughter relationships.

I’ve started reading this book. Did not see the movie, but heard good vibes for this book from a collegue.

I just found out I have a copy in my bookcase (blushing...), so I'm in!

Just finished the book. Wow, what a story. I am really impressed how the author connects everything and makes the story complete. A sort of full circle. And in the end the title makes much more sense, then when I started reading the book.

I also have some trouble with the names. But the story and the way it is told is really good.
