I've seen and heard David Brooks in person over the years. He is congenial,personable, respectable-looking and reasonable-sounding. It is I think a verifiable fact that he was a cheerleader for George W. Bush and deregulating banking and invading Iraq...so in my opinion he should be doing some serious soul searching about using his credibility to influence the American public to accept policies that had serious consequences.
