Melissa’s comments from the 2017 Reading Challenge group.

Although this book begins in New York City, which I have been to many times, the main character eventually travels to London, which is definitely a place that I want to visit.

This is the third book in a series, but you don't have to read the first two books to understand this one.

In the book, Sarah Patrick and her dog, Monty, go on search and rescue missions, all leading to a surprising twist that the reader never sees coming.

I love Iris Johansen, and this is definitely one of my favorite books that she's written.

So far, there are three books in The Land of Stories series: The Wishing Spell, The Enchantress Returns, and A Grimm Warning. All of the books are written by Chris Colfer, who is currently 24 years old.

The series follows Alex and Conner Bailey, twins who are magically transported into the Land of Stories. Once there, the twins encounter a wide array of fairy tale characters, including Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel. The books provide a new take on old favorites, and I loved every page!

All of the books can be used as books with nonhuman characters, and The Enchantress Returns can also be used as a book with 500+ pages.
