^ that should be 'best of'....

If you want ideas from some of the best of this year, here's a round-up of more than a dozen 'best is' lists:

Done! I finished Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Ernest this morning & that was my last one. It also was my 100th book of the year - a feat I've never before accomplished. Yay!

Is there a way to make the title of the thread what it is rather than having a list of threads that are all titled 'Description and Suggestions '? The way it is set up now, you have to open up each one to know what it's about.

I graduated in '95 & '97. My uncle is Coach Dye. That's him with my mom, me & Harper Lee in my profile pic.

Merry Christmas from a warm but soggy Georgia!

I read this one, too, for the book from my childhood. A wonderful story!

I count them button my blog I also delineate between books I read vs books I listened to.

I have just one left! (Actually, I'm still finishing the trilogy, too...) Very exciting to be this close with more than a month left. Also, this year I've hit a record for the number of books read. I should finish the year at around 95 - amazing for me!
Here's my
list!

Yay! Very excited!
I'm two away from finishing this year's challenge. And, this year I'll finish 90+ books - a record for me. The challenge has helped stretch me to read selections I may not have otherwise.

Who else is getting really excited to see the list?!

I just ordered a graphic novel & found a play to hit those categories. I'm going to have to lie about the book I was supposed to read in high school, because I read everything I should have.

3, 4, 6, 11 (add myth), 16, 24, 25, 26, 34, 35, 37, 72, 77
I love these. I may actually create my own challenge or at least refer back to this list & sub out any categories I don't love that do get chosen.
Thanks!

It is so exciting to see so many challenging themselves, reading more books than usual, being well ahead of the 50% mark! For me, that's what these challenges are about- stretch goals!
Way to go, everyone!

I have a page for it on my blog link:
