Made it with a few days to spare. :)This was fun. Hope we can come up with a new idea for 2016. Maybe just a "challenge" where we share what we're reading?
Meredith
Just updated one that I had duplicated one book for two categories, now I have other ones that fit. I will end up with only one duplicate (counted Monte Cristo for two, so sort of a shortcut). This was fun. Paula, I know you said you don't want to do another list, but we should find another kind of "challenge" to do for next year. :)
So cool!I'm reading my book my mom loves now (really, an author she loves, she said that I've read all the books she loves). Before the end of break, I'll read "To Kill a Mockingbird" for my book I should have read in school. Woohoo!
Here's my next finished album:A Hard Day’s Night
“A Hard Day’s Night” - Read a book that has been made into a movie – The Martian
“I Should Have Known Better” - Read a book from an adult's point of view looking back over their childhood – We Are Completely Beside Ourselves
“If I Fell” - Read a book by one of your favorite authors - Motive
“I’m Happy Just to Dance with You” - Read a book about dancing – fiction or nonfiction – Killing Ruby Rose
“Tell Me Why” - Read a memoir – Beneath the Surface
“Can’t Buy Me Love” - Buy a book and read it immediately - The Glass Magician
“Any Time at All” - Read a book that has lasted the test of time, is appropriate throughout the ages, appeals to YA and adult, et cetera – The Count of Monte Cristo
“I’ll Cry Instead” - Read a sad story – The Stranger
“Things We Said Today” - Read a book of letters AND/OR read a current events book, magazine(5pts) or journal(5pts) – Dietland (there were many letters in there)
“When I Get Home” - Read a book about home or family dynamics – Lacy Eye
“You Can’t Do That” - Read a banned book - Beloved
“I’ll Be Back” - Read a book that has been re-written from another character’s perspective (exp. Ahab’s Wife, Finn, etc.) – Dying For Her
Just ran into this...supposed to be 10 books that are super scary:http://io9.com/5954916/10-novels-that...

Okay the book I am reading now is pretty scary - might have accidentally found it. Follow You Home. Will see as it continues. So far, this kind of story is definitely the reason My group is going on a Rick Steves tour and NOT backpacking through Europe staying in hostels.
For a scared about real life stuff book, "Wrapped in the Flag" was terrifying in a whole different way!
Paula, I think that's one of the few Stephen Kings I never read - at least the classic ones, I haven't read very many of his newer ones. I think the one that creeped me out the most was Helter Skelter. Read it in college. I was fine thinking, oh they're all in jail now. Then got to the part where it told about all the family members who are still out and about. Freaked me out!
Hi Everyone,I'm getting down to my last few - wondering what I'm going to read for "a book that scares me." What is the scariest book you ever read?
