Hi! I haven't been on the Goodreads forums for a while, but now I'm back. It looks like this forum has also been inactive for a long time, but hopefully there are still some people interested in the topic.Do you write climate fiction or know someone who writes fiction with climate themes?
I'm looking for authors who are interested in participating in a Climate Fiction Group Promo for October 2021.
You can find all of the details on my Goodreads author profile or website. (Treesong)
I use a site called StoryOrigin to run group promos. Group promos basically involve a group of authors joining together to give away free short stories or books that all fit a certain theme. In this case, the theme is climate fiction. It's great for readers because they get free fiction. And it's great for authors because they get subscribers for their newsletters. [Or in some cases, new book reviews. But this is a newsletter-building group promo.]
I've already contacted some authors who I've seen use the "Climate Change" tag on StoryOrigin. I'm also looking for authors who aren't on StoryOrigin yet to see if they may be interested in joining StoryOrigin to participate in this group promo.
What do you think?
If you're not interested for October, please let me know if you may be interested in future months. Climate fiction is my main focus, so I plan to organize a series of climate-themed group promos. If you're interested in being involved in any way, or just hearing about them so you know when/where to get a bunch of free climate fiction, let me know.
Thanks,
Treesong
