Thanks for the notice Trav & Garima. I've just started Baldwin's Go Tell It on the Mountain but I will try to catch up with you guys when I am done with it. That should be doubly interesting as my ancient edition of 1984 is in Spanish...
You can also count me in for the discussion of Midnight's Children, which I've recently finished and has enthralled me completely, from beginning to end.
