I liked The Wave, a lot. Quake wasn't very good. I'm a sucker for disaster movies.

We're watching this now and I totally agree. It is exceptional and even manages to avoid sentimentality. I am reminded of the earlier effort with John Voight: Chernobyl: The Final Warning which is good too, though far less detailed.
