I've been wanting to read Challenger Deep. I think at this point we might just delay the Book of the Month to next month, though. Everyone post a list of books you want to do for March so I can make a poll!
So, we've let this group fall inactive but we want to revive it. We will start by doing the February Book of the Month. Please make your suggestions here for the book we will read this month. Since we are already into February, this topic will only be open for a few days.
Well, unless there are cats that are very much in need, like they have been displaced by a flood or something and just need somewhere to stay temporarily.
I think cats might be welcomed temporarily if they will help provide for themselves. In order to actually join the Clan, they should have to prove themselves.
Hermione shook off the sadness she was feeling. She needed to show Ginny that it was okay to move on, and she couldn't exactly do that by acting as sad as she felt. She pulled out a copy of the Daily Prophet and started reading. It had become much more accurate since the end of the war.
Hermione sat down beside her. "I know it's hard. We all lost people. But Luna's right. Fred would want us to be happy. He always loved making people happy. And if he were here, he would say that he wished he had never died because of the unhappiness it had caused everyone. Because all he wanted to do was make people laugh and be happy. So don't be sad. It's not what he would want."
"Hey," said Hermione, seeing Ginny's sad face. "Do you remember when Harry thought he was going crazy because he could see the thestrals and Luna was the only other one who could?" Hermione laughed.
Hermione waved her wand and her trunk settled down on the back of the carriage. She rubbed the nose of a thestral before getting in; of course, she still wished she couldn't see the thestrals like before. Pretty much everyone could see them now.
Hermione finished packing quickly before she followed Ginny, trunk trailing behind her in midair. "Are you coming Luna?" she called over her shoulder.
