Vonda’s comments from the Fans of Alice Hoffman group.

I’m resurrecting this group because I’ve just discovered her books myself!! Now I feel as though I’m ruined for every other author I try to read instead of Alice Hoffman… I’ve tried to start reading 7 other books I already own & none could capture my attention.. Only read 2 full Hoffman books so far: Blackbird House & Seventh Heaven. I’m now starting on The Dovekeepers. I do want to read the infamous Magical series, and came in search of the answer which I knew I’d find here, ‘which order to read them in’. I can’t give a fair answer to this specific question yet. Though all of her books are now on my immediate “want to read”, list. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the 2 which I’ve completed so far. Most people wrote “not her best work” on both, which really excites me because they were very good to me! If I had to chose best of the 2.1 books I’ve read thus far, I’d have to chose Blackbird House. It was dark and bizarre and amazingly beautiful. I didn’t want it to stop.
