He respects his cousin. It shows that when it comes to the women in his family he trust and cares for them and even though him a Giulia might bicker he cares deeply for her. That and the fact that Cassio is probably thed only Underboss that he trust. He know that if he loose Cassio the next person running Philadelphia might not work well with him.
