Wondering what book everyone is assigning to each challenge, if you're doing them? Some of these aren't on my TBR so I'll have to swap some out.Mine are:
1. Read a book that's been on your shelf for at least a year:
The Picture of Dorian Gray. Most on my main TBR have been there longer than a year haha
2. Read a book that you received as a gift, but have yet to read:
The Flower Girls by Alice Clark Platts. My son gave me this for mother's day :)
3. Read the biggest book on your shelf:
Uhhh Les Miserables. Maybe I'll aim to read half, though .. maybe a quarter haha.
also I didn't know about the challenges! Just saw them on your announcement video. I'm excited to try and do them :D
Ashli wrote: "Ohh that’s a lot, good luck!! I’d have more but I’ve been super slumpy the last few weeks. 😑"I am being VERY optimistic haha. I'll do my absolute best!! I figure the Secret Garden and Romeo and Juliet are moderately short so that'll help?? hmm haha
I have some must-reads and some backups in case I hit a slump with my main list!1. Revival, Stephen King
2. The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde
3. All That I Am, Anna Funder
4. Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare
5. The Flower Girls, Alice Clark-Platts
6. The Harvest Man, Alex Grecian
7. The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett
The back-up books are:
1. Truth Witch, Susan Dennard
2. The Name of the Wind, Patrick Rothfuss
3. Les Miserables, Victor Hugo - adding for the challenge but I will neverrrrr get through it haha
