Almost up to it. Have to finish Paris match first. I just gave it to my Dad to read first.

So I recently got my dad into the Series and he on book 3 and slowly becoming addicted to the point where he will read it at home and not just waiting in the doctors office. So he finished book 2 of stone which is Dirt and asked me who the killer was and I can't remember do any of you remember?

Yeah. I can agree with that too. Anyway I have 5 audios I am in the middle from the Library so I am going to finish those all this week and then go back to him I guess or maybe throw a Stone in first.

Ok I finally finished Chiefs on the way in this morning. Back to Stone or Holly for me. I need a break before I attempt another one. I love Stuart Woods so much and I hate not knowing a character he uses but oh man. That book was killer to get through. It put me to sleep at times and missed important parts by tuning out. I will say this It was an awesome history lesson and I did enjoy that part. I am a 30 something living in New York and was very Naïve to what went down back in the day in the south.

Dianae,
Sorry I never sent you my copy it is still among the missing. I am listening to it in the car and it is super long and boring me to tears at points and other parts I love and I am so interested. I am having a love hate relationship to this story. I love the history in it and learning about the south back in the day but he seems to drag it on and on. Anyway that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions right. lol Let me know your thoughts when you begin.

OK I will give it some more time then.

Let me give it tomorrow's ride in and then I will let you know. Have you read the whole Will Lee Series? Are they all this dull? If it gets better I will stick with it because I am a stickler for reading in order and not leaving any out.

Jim,
I am only about 12 chapters into Chiefs but I am finding myself really bored with it. I think you are further does it get any better? Maybe its the reader his voice puts me to sleep. Thoughts?

Well I didn't get to any racial slurs as of yet. But your right it is probably correct for that time. I heard cotton fields already so that is about right for timing of slavery correct?

We just started Chiefs this morning. Only 3 chapters in so I can't judge it yet.

THANKS I WILL GIVE MINE A TRY BEFORE I PURCHASE MORE OF THE SERIES. I BOUGHT THE ABC BOOK ALL AS ONE SO I WILL START IT THIS WEEKEND AS MY AT HOME BOOK AS IT IS HUGE TO LUG AROUND.

Thanks all. Yes I am about to start DC dead and I realize that will and holly are a part of that so we are going to start Will Lee tomorrow before going back to stone.

JH ,
I see that you read the ABC books . I have the first 3 but never read it. Would I like it?

So I am now upto DC Dead on Stone , finished Rick Barrons books and I wondering where to go. Do I start Ed Eagle? Do I start Will Lee? Go Back to Holly Barker and Finish? So many books so little time. Seriously though I hear DC dead has holly in it and Will lee. I listen to these with my Brother and he doesn't know there characters yet since he only started stone with me 19 books in. What do you all think?

I Love Stephanie Plum books I am very behind on her as well. I think I am only on 16. She must be a riot to listen to.

Dianae,
I still never looked for the book as of yet but I will try to rememeber tonight. Just finished Bel Air Dead and it was great we are on to Son of Stone and then going to back track to the Ed Eagle books since I never read those and he was a big part of Bel Air Dead.
JH,
Loving the Audio's this might be my new way of reading forever.

Dianae,
I think I have chiefs and I think we are going to try it in audio after Bel Air Dead. I would be happy to loan it to you. I can mail it to you and then you could mail it back. Let me know if your interested.

I own the hard copy which is why I didn't want to pay for the audio but my library doesn't have it. Yes I joined audible last night. Since my brother got so much enjoyment out of it and we commute daily together I figured it was worth the 15.00bucks for us to have something to bond over. Guess I hooked another Stuart woods fan. My mom recently had surgery and my Dad was out of his Bill Orielly books so I gave give New York dead and he almost finished it in one sitting at the hospital. He is onto the second.

So I did some hunting and I only found it for $15.95 is that what audio's go for? I was thinking that sounded high. Let me know.

OK WELL THAT WAS SHORT LIVED. I AM 10 CHAPTERS AWAY FROM FINISHING STRATEGIC MOVES SO I GO TO DOWNLOAD BEL AIR DEAD AND MY LIBRARY DOESNT HAVE IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO GET IT?
