I agre with Tracy regarding the Harry Bosch saeried - I started reading Michael Connelly with the Lincoln Lawyer series, but find Harry Bosch a little better reads.

David Baldacci is close - he is a little deeper than Woods, but the Camel Club series and the Maxwell and King series are good reads. Also Harln Coben his Myron Bolitar series.
