16548 Just finished Dark Class by Michelle Diener. Nice addition to Dark Minds series

16548 I finished Diener's Wave Rider and Rusch's The Chase a Diving Novel. Both worth reading.

16548 I forgot to mention Pets In Space 5/ great collection of sci-fi romance stories. Some short story length some novella length. Each with a interesting pet

16548 She does sci-fi with a twist. Diving is different from Retrieval but both have great characters and intricate plots

16548 I liked it. My sci-fi book club read Children of Dead Earth and loved it for the same reason you did. In the Black has some familiar troops but with a edge and a twist

16548 Three of my must read authors have released books this month. Thieves (Diving Universe #8) by Rusch, Kristine Kathryn -

The Legacy of Tomorrow (Starhawke Rising Book 4) by Sharpe, Audrey

In the Black (book #1) by Tomlinson, Patrick S.

16548 I am in the elder group too. Staying in and my two sons are doing my shopping. You would think I would be doing a lot of reading but I just could not settle down as everything went downhill. I am just now beginning to do some reading. It has to be light and fun. Nothing serious
16548 Love the book. Characters were great
16548 Loved it when it first came out and read it several times. This time I don't like it as much. Times and tastes change.
16548 Listened to it. Wondered where it would go. Found it very interesting

16548 I just finished Trident's Forge by Patrick S. Tomlinson book two in The Children of Dead Earth series. It was as good as The Ark, book one, but a totally different plot.

16548 Went to Barnes and Noble today and came home with The Prison in Antares by Mike Resnivk and Shadow of Empire by Jay Allen.

16548 I just finished Killing Titian by Greg Bear. Did not like it as much as book Dogs of War but will look for and read book three when it comes out in 2016.

Also read Her Brothers Keeper from Baen. An OK read. I got an ARC for review. It may not be out yet.

16548 I am reading Greg Bear's War Dogs. It is interesting but slow going.

16548 This reminded me of books by Nancy Kress. She also writes books that take a unexpected turn. I really did not see where the book was going until I was 3/4 of the way through.

16548 I just finished an ARC of Sharon Lynn Fisher's Echo 8. It comes out in Feb. I loved her other two books and this one is just as good. So far she has only done stand alone books so you can read in any order.

16548 I just finished Mike Resnick's The Fortress in Orion the first in a new series. It was very good Space Opera. I also finished The Genome by Sergei Lukyanenlo. I liked both.
