Just started the same. The endorsement from Kameron Hurley was enough to spur me on. Had this on the TBR for 2 months now, finally getting around to it!

Finished the Bonehunters, Book#6 in the staggering Malazan series - now want some lighter fast reads - started "The Long Tail" by Chris Anderson in a bid to improve my non-fiction score - and Down Under by Bill Bryson. enjoying both so far!!
