Cadence was walking past the target training room when she caught sight of Agent Mason. "Ah, there you are, Maybell," she said, stepping into the room. "Getting a little practice in?"
Cadence smiled. "I leave you to it. I'm going to go find Maybell. If you guys could think up a mutants specialist, a doctor, and another operations agent, I'd really appreciate it. Just make sure they're experienced, and I'll approve them. We'll rendezvous in the meeting room in twenty minutes."She moved towards the door and paused. She smiled at Danny. "Nice to meet you, Danny. I hope you're as good an agent as you are a flirt." She hurried out, hiding a grin.
((I shall go fetch Maybell.))
Liko, just thought I'd let you know we have a character named Maybell, so you might want to try a different name. :)
Natalee, if you want to figure out where Maybell would be hanging out or working, I'm going to put her on the team Cadence is putting together, so Cadence is going to come find her. :)
Cadence grinned. She had a feeling that Danny would be a valuable asset. Whether or not his tech skills came in handy, his humor and drive would help keep the group motivated. "More than just us," she said. She checked her list. "I still need a mutants Specialist, a doctor, and two more operations agents." She mentally marked off one operation agent and the Tech agent. She tapped the table thoughtfully. "I think I'm going to pull Agent Mason off of another team..." She was thinking out loud.
(We'll probably have to make up names for the other agents, or we could create them. :) )
Cadence smirked. Danny would definitely not be considered old. In fact, he looked younger than her. "Well, it's a fairly long story, but I'm putting together a team of agents to go after a man with super strength that appeared on our radar. Or Youtube. You may have seen the video." She handed him the hologram device."We'll be heading out as soon as we get the all clear from Director Ross. That is, if you're on board," she added, lifting an eyebrow. "You come highly recommended from Vivian."
Cadence smiled at Danny's eagerness. "I see we haven't met for more than a few minutes before. Please, call me Cadence. Or Lake, if you must." She tried to make the agents as comfortable as possible, and some of them just didn't feel right calling her by her first name. "Vivian said you might be interested in helping me out, if you're not otherwise occupied with inventions." Cadence leaned slightly against the table, the corner of her mouth tilting up. "Then again, this would take precedence over anything else you're working on. But if you're busy, I could use a suggestion for another Tech agent." She cleared her throat lightly. The smell of smoke still lingered.
Cadence grinned. "I can believe that." Sometimes she was so focused on work around base that Vivian made her go on an easy mission, just to get her head out of paperwork for a while. "Well, lead on." She could only hope she could get him on board. He was her best option at the moment.

Cadence nodded. "More or less. If he gets violent, we would try tranqing him first." She motioned to the hologram. "But we don't know how he got his powers, or how his system works, so drugs might go right through him. Just like with, well, Captain America." She winced at the thought of the deceased legend. She considered Agent Adaire. She had run into him a couple times before. "I think he'd be a good option. And this is more important than any other project at the moment."
Cadence smiled to herself. Somehow she had known that Vivian would jump right on board. "I'm putting together a team together to bring him in, or at the very least to talk to him." She hesitated. "If he turns dangerous, though, Director Ross wants us to remove him." She paused. "I'll need to gather a few more agents, and we won't go until I get the all-clear from Director Ross." She thought for a second. Vivian probably knew some of the agents better than she herself did. "I'm going to need a Tech agent. Do you have any suggestions?"
Cadence nodded. "You might need your tranq arrows for this." She sobered, looking at the other arrows. "And maybe some of these, too. I need your help on an important mission, but if it turns out as something you don't want to do, we've got another team we might need you on."She pulled out her portable hologram and handed it to Vivian. The video of the man stopping the cars came up, paused at the beginning. "Have you seen this?" she asked.
((Have you been keeping up in the director's office?))
Cadence slipped quietly into the target training area. It was empty, except for Agent Terra. She was using a bow, and Cadence remembered that was her specialty. She could help but admire the other agent's aim. "Nice shot," she complimented, walking over and studying the arrows. "You've got a pretty nice selection. Any tranq arrows?"
