uuuuuggghhhh, took a practice placement test because i was worried about the real one and decided to do it later today or maybe tomorrow. but i did really well on the placement one (45 out of 50, and i only missed the other ones because of dumb reasons on my part (like missing a negative sign when writing out the problem or forgetting to check if an answer actually equaled zero or not after factoring and stuff like that)), but, gahhhhhh, replying time, i guess. :P
So today is my get shit done day because I really need to do stuff. First is a placement test for college that I have to take, then imma write replies, then imma try to work on characters, but I might just end up skipping to marathoning Haikyuu, idk. But the first two things are definitely on the agenda, so :P We'll see how this goes.
everything about this is evidence as to how unbelievably out of it and exhausted i am right now. like, bro.(view spoiler)
i'm so tired oh my god xD["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
See? This was why Jacob was one hundred percent sure that they would probably never get along again. Not that he even wanted to, though. She was right about the whole trash can thing. He would have been perfectly content with never seeing her face ever again. It was fun and all to annoy her and everything, and he definitely enjoyed it when he got a nice comeback in, but, yeah, if he had to chose between that and never hearing her annoying voice again, he'd definitely go with the latter. Especially when she made that last comment.
At first, he could tell that his smirk had faltered for a moment, switching into a slight frown, but he picked it right back up where it fell. Letting out an amused huff, he crossed his arms over his chest and rose his shoulders in a small shrug. "Well, you're here, aren't you? You've pretty much got the whole dog thing down." Was he calling her a bitch? Yeah. Yeah, definitely calling her a bitch. It wasn't like she'd heard worse from him before, though, and he bet it didn't even cut that deep.
After all, the whole deep thing didn't really work for her, anyways.
Summer's eyes flashed up as she heard a familiar voice, catching on light blonde hair, grey eyes, and a face she recognized immediately. Delilah. Immediately, her lips lifted into a smile and she set down the coffee she'd just taken a small sip of. "Definitely," she commented, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Would have been a lot better if they hadn't been out of chocolate muffins, though." Yeah, Summer definitely had a bit of a sweet tooth. Okay, more like if there was a chocolate fountain in the vicinity, she'd probably be just fine diving into it, no pushing required.
"I mean, what kind of cafe doesn't have, like, a million chocolate muffins stored away in case of an emergency or something? I should have a word with whoever runs this place." She was joking obviously, and she lifted up her drink to her mouth with a smile still on her lips. Good thing about this place, though, was that they hadn't stopped making mochas. It didn't really replace the muffin, but it was better than nothing. "How have things been going with you lately, though?"

Ahhhhhh, I'm glad you like him <3
I already adore Nala~
Despite the fact that he actually wasn't on the team, Jacob had actually come to the gym to practice shooting some hoops. Basketball was one of those sports that he'd always kind of liked, but had never been particularly amazing at. Not to mention he already had his hands full with soccer, baseball, wrestling, and the whole good grades thing. So, yeah, basketball was kind of off the menu for now, but that didn't mean he couldn't at least have fun with it.
Approaching the doors, he entered the gym and took in the sights. The first thing he noticed? There was already a pack of guys (most of them he knew pretty well from) occupying half the court, which was actually more incentive to get better at playing. The second thing he noticed? A soccer ball flying his way. Lazily jogging up to where it was coming to a slow roll, he stopped it with the inside of his foot and looked up for who might have been practicing with it.
A second later and he kind of wished he'd cherrybombed it above the bleachers. Nala seemed to just show up everywhere he went, didn't she?
Obnoxiously lifting his brow, as if to comment on the fact that she'd obviously messed up on her kicking practice somehow, Jacob made it a point not to kick the ball back to her and instead let it sit right there next to his foot. Yeah, keeping it there would mean she'd have to come and get it, obviously initiating some kind of banter, but Jacob wasn't about to do her a favor. That's kind of how they worked.
A little known fact about Summer Kwon: in order to properly function in the mornings, coffee was an absolute necessity. It wasn't just a little snack, not something she randomly decided to get every once in a while. No, it was definitely a part of her every day routine, and without it? Well, things just wouldn't be the same. And she'd probably be an absolute mess, but you know. It was kind of an addiction at this point.
On this particular morning, she was doing exactly what she did every other morning: a nice little coffee break before any of the real work set in and she was up to her ears in studying material and homework. Only this time, instead of sitting at a table that was obviously destined for her and only her (made obvious by her meticulously organized bag perched on the other chair), she'd left the remaining seat open for whomever decided to plop down. She just kind of hoped no stranger took it up before someone she knew did. That'd be awkward.
dude, rose, my post is going to be one hundred percent worse. believe me.
like, yours was good.
mine's gonna flop hard xD
omg, you never realize how out of shape you are when it comes to roleplaying until you try to do it after like an eternity. and it's just like, what even is writing? xDsadiya: cool :)
