I find myself enjoying the tv adaptations more, or maybe I just like the more recent adaptations and they all happen to be tv. I'm loving His Dark Materials. I know they've changed some stuff, but with a first-person limited perspective, you have to add things in order to justify having any of the other actors. I'm watching The Stand right now, and I absolutely love it! It's a great adaptation. The one critique I have is that they cast a hearing actor to play Nick, who is Deaf. That's really disappointing, but otherwise, I really like the show. I heard that Disney is remaking the Percy Jackson books, but as a tv show this time, and I am cautiously optimistic about that whenever it decides to drop.
