Post your adventures in illustrating, either from the perspective of an author or as the artist. Have Fun!
My first comment was tongue in cheek of course. My best friend writes and illustrates his own work and he is as humble as can be.
My wife did illustrations and cover work for my book "Haley Cork and the Blue Door". I was fortunate because she is talented and not averse to dipping her fingers into the paint. I asked her to portray a girl in old fashion dress (Dutch Colonial) who has just realized the only friends she has in the world cannot help her in role as Keeper. Her brave calico Crunk sits on her lap on the threshold of the Blue Door. This was her first time painting illustrations, but it put the fever in her. She is now illustrating full-time.
