Hi Ian, The Humans would have been on my list of potentials had I come across it in the library. Alas, being in semi-rural Japan, the selection of books written in English is somewhat dire.
Hello all, Happy New Year and a warm welcome to Caitlin and Tara!I've been AWOL for the past few months as I moved to Japan. I'm mostly settled in now, so much so that I finally joined my local library today!
They have a small selection of books written in English so I hope I can participate in the LSH as much as possible from here on out.
Perhaps I'll be able to read books written in Japanese soon enough!

Hello all! It's February and we all know what day it is on February 14th...That's right! It's Organ Donor Day!. (If you guessed 'Tuesday', then you are also correct!) Thus, this month's challenge is to read a book with the word 'heart' in the title.
And, of course: :
1) Please feel free to use this thread for discussion, recommendations, and reviews.
2) Please also remember to add your book to the group bookshelf! You can do this on the group's main page by scrolling down to where it says "Bookshelf" at the bottom, and clicking on "Add Books".
Happy hunting!
I will forever recommend "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Also, "The Stranger" by Albert Camus is quite interesting.
Both are short reads. :)
Happy hunting!
Can you believe it has been a whole year since Fran and I started this group? Thank you to everyone who has joined. Please continue to spread the news of the Library Scavenger Hunt! Speaking of years, I thought it would be nice to celebrate our one year anniversary by making our challenge to read a book with a year OR the word 'year' in the title. This one might require a fair bit of hunting, but that's what this group is all about! When you've finished your books, please post a link to your reviews on this thread - we'd love to see them! :) Have fun scouring those library shelves! Happy hunting, everyone! :)[Please also remember to add your book to the group bookshelf! You can do this on the group's main page by scrolling down to where it says "Bookshelf" at the bottom, and clicking on "Add Books".]

Hi everyone! I, naturally, started reading Cinder by Marissa Meyer for the March LSH. I'm still reading it but as ever, will be posting a mini review on my blog, ssjtimelordandherbooks.wordpress.com
Hello all and welcome to month no. 8! This month's challenge is to read a book with a shoe (or another type of footwear such as boots, trainers etc.) on the cover. As ever, we encourage you to post your reviews here or leave a link to them if you'd rather post elsewhere. Happy hunting! [Please also remember to add your book to the group bookshelf! Hi everyone, I finished The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart yesterday. I will be posting a mini-review on my blog next week!I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!
I've just finished The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White. This was quite witty in parts and made me chuckle several times. I hope to write a mini review for it soon for my January Wrap-up. I'll post the link when it goes up!
Hello all and Happy New Year! Welcome to month no. 6 of the LSH! This month's challenge is to read a book that has an arrow on the front cover. Post your reviews here, or leave a link to them if you'd rather post elsewhere - it will be great to see what you all discover in your local library! :D[Please also remember to add your book to the group bookshelf! I just finished Fire Colour One by Jenny Valentine. I hope to find some time to write a review in the next week or so, though it may just be a mini review on my blog. Congratulations to everyone who managed to complete this month's challenge!
Done! With 7 minutes to spare! I read Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill. I'll be writing a review in the next few days which will be posted on my blog: ssjtimelordandherbooks.wordpress.com.
