I'd never heard of this book before. Looks fascinating. I'll have to check it out!

I just saw Paths of Glory. It definitely follows a similar theme as The Wire in which the institutions in place promote social injustice. Definitely a great film to watch if you enjoy The Wire.

Does anyone have an opinion on Ishmael Reed's accusations that The Wire is a racist television show?
