Yeah I read Dream a Little Dream, really liked it. I like Kerstin Gier in general, her Ruby Red series is also really nice if you haven't read that yet. It combines two of my favourite things: time travel and young adult books

I know what you mean. It's getting used to. Although I do like the 'shape-the-world-as-you-like' part of the book.
Farm is a definite recommendation.
