178311 Jen, I feel the same. The books I read in my own time shouldn't feel like books I *have* to read! I really struggle with slow beginnings and books that aren't page turners! That being said I'm going to try and keep going, so many people can't be wrong - the star ratings on goodreads are amazing! It probably all boils down to me not being very good at DNFing books! Have you read the Grisha trilogy? I wonder if that might have made it easier (I haven't) X

178311 I've just scrolled past all of your lovely discussions to avoid spoilers as I'm definitely not up to speed!
I've just finished part 1 but I just can't seem to get my teeth into it! I'm almost a 1/3 through and am beginning to consider just giving up on it! Do you guys think it gets
better or do you think I would have gotten into it by now to like it? Eeeek! Xx

Yes I definitely need to catch up on some series! Hopefully some of these will be Christmas presents though ;) I've read the first in the Throne of Glass series so can't wait to start on the next!
I hope your exam goes well and you have a great time in Germany! I've never been although it always sounds lush at Christmas! Looking forward to the read-alongs too! x

178311 Hi everyone! My name's Jordan, I'm 20 and live in the UK and have the YouTube channel LittleLlamaBooks (soon to become Jordan's Bookshelf)! I am currently in my last year of uni studying English literature (no surprises there!).

I've never taken part in any read alongs or buddy reads so very excited to be a part of this group - I just hope I can keep up while writing my dissertation!
My fav genre of books are probably YA Contemporaries, I love love love Rainbow Rowell! Mostly read things that are recommended to me but my plan for the new year is to read lots more series like Throne of Glass, Cinder and Daughter of Smoke and Bone etc...

I'm now going to have a good ol' snoop at your instagrams and blogs!

Jordan x
