I think a good place to start would be Wikipedia. I'll have a dig around and see if I can turn up a decent introductory website

I read it only a short while back. Essentially, it takes elements from the Children of Lir and repurposes them in a completely different story and environment. I found it very unexpected and highly entertaining.
