Lyra’s comments from the HC Helsinki Book Club group.

I started reading 'White Teeth' in Finnish and while I devoured the first few chapters, I can't bring myself to start the next one that's apparently going to be all about the characters' experiences in WWII... :(

This is Lyra, editor-in-chief of Her Campus Helsinki. I feel a little embarrassed to admit that I didn't pick up many books last year, but I'm hoping to change that this year by e.g. reading before bed rather than scroll through my instagram feed.

I'm quite new to goodreads, though I've known about this site for ages and I thought this would be a good way for me to start afresh and keep track of my reading. My initial plan was to do as much of popsugar's reading challenge (http://www.popsugar.com/love/Reading-...) as possible, but then I got really excited about the #BustleReads list (http://www.bustle.com/articles/130754...), so I might try to combine the 2 somehow.

I haven't done a lot of research on what I'd like to read yet, so any recommendations would be much appreciated!
