You’ve got to be close to done with the list- talk about a super reader!
Of the 1315 total, I've read 1144 as of today. I'm trying to get 10 books from the list read each month. I have been working on this since the first edition was published, though- and I still have some books on the shelf that I bought back in 2007! I'm afraid those might crumble if I pick them up to read.

I’ve read, and enjoyed both. Une Vie was terrific- Maupassant is one of the gems I’d never have found without the 1001 list.
