Sometimes simply referred to as Madam Malkin's, it is a shop in Diagon Alley. Students get their Hogwarts school uniforms there, and also dress robes, traveling cloaks, and the like.

Ollivander's Wand Shop is the sole wand shop of Diagon Alley. Peeling gold letters over the door of the shop read: Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.. The shop's display consists of a solitary wand laying on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window. The shop is tiny, empty except for a single, spindly chair in the corner. Thousands of narrow boxes containing wands are piled right up to the ceiling of the tiny shop, and the whole place has a thin layer of dust about it.

Gringotts is the only known bank of the wizarding world. It was created by the goblin Gringott. It is located in Diagon Alley and is owned and run by Goblins. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards, one can go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money.

A pet shop located in Diagon Alley that sells owls and other assorted magical pets.

An ice cream parlour located in Diagon Alley, owned and operated by Florean Fortescue.

A popular wizarding pub and inn, the Leaky Cauldron also contains the entrance to Diagon Alley.

Flourish and Blotts is a bookstore on the North Side of Diagon Alley, and is where most students purchase their school books.

Appearance (with a description four lines or more, not just a picture): Adelaide has long hair that falls almost to her waist in straight, silky black sheets. Her face is very aristocratic, with high cheekbones, an aquiline nose, strong brows and full rosy lips. Her skin is milky pale, accentuating her extremely dark eyes. Addy isn’t very tall, she only stands about 5 foot 4, and at first glance seems to be willowy and fragile. However, upon closer inspection, her frame is very wiry, with hard muscle built up after hours and hours of Quidditch practice. Addy likes to experiment with her hair and makeup, but most often her hair is perfectly curled and her face is completely clean of makeup except for mascara thickening her eyelashes. Her style is more feminine, influenced by her French mother, with flouncy skirts and blouses and sky high heels.

Personality (with a description of more than four lines, as well please make character traits consistent with the traits of their school house): Adelaide is very stoic. She doesn’t make friends easily and finds that people are easily intimidated by her simply because of her haughty demeanor. She is very mindful and wary of her own actions, but it is not to be assumed that she is always a role model. She would just rather set someone else up to take the fall for something that she did than take responsibility for it herself. However, if you can break down her walls, Addy is fiercely loyal, and will reward her friends for their loyalty. Also, contradictory to her prowess on the Quidditch field, Addy is quite clumsy and always tripping over her own two feet, a fact that is most likely due to the height of the heels that she is always wearing.

Character History (four lines or more): Adelaide belongs to the Black family, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. Adelaide was raised within the elevated status and extreme wealth that comes along with being a part of this family. She has always lived, and continues to live (while she isn’t at Hogwarts, at least), in 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family’s ancestral home. Adelaide is the daughter of the late Sirius Black, and was raised by her mother, Cosette Blanc. This is something that Adelaide has always found vaguely humorous, as her mother’s surname translates to ‘White’. Growing up, Adelaide was surrounded by her mother’s large French family, and other than the house that she grew up in, she had no real connection to her Black family heritage until she began at Hogwarts. Over the past seven years, Adelaide has voraciously learned everything that she possibly could about her fathers’ family. Addy has a burning desire to be as great a witch as her Black ancestors before her, and now that she is in her seventh year, she is getting quite close to reaching her full potential.

Strengths: Adelaide is sneaky, very good at devising schemes and plans, and is able to make people believe any lies that she may tell them by telling just enough of the truth to sound credible.

Weaknesses: Addy can often be arrogant. She dislikes being ordered around, and can be very demanding of her friends and underlings.

Likes: History of Magic. While this class may often make her classmates fall asleep, Addy deeply enjoys learning about wizarding history.

Dislikes: Pumpkin juice. She wonders how some people can even stomach the taste as it is completely abhorrent to her.

Pet (if they have one): A Maine Coon cat named Cadmus.

Wand Type: 7 and a quarter inches, cherry wood with a core of unicorn hair. Unyielding.

Hello Ashara, and welcome to the group! I hope you like it here. There's just a few things that I noticed about your character sheet. I'd like you to add a little more to your character history. You've stated some good facts, but I want a little more reason behind these facts. What kind of baggage does she have and why? Why doesn't she speak about her parents? Why does she hide her ability with Parselmouth?
