50x66 I'm just starting The Graveyard Apartment by Mariko Koike . Off to a slow start so far. Anyone read it?

I don't think I've ever read Bentley Little!"

Oooooh, so we'll both plan to read The Elementals this year!

Bentley Little was discovered by Dean Koontz, one of my favourite horror writers. I found some more of Bentley's books at a used book sale: The Policy, The Walking, and The Revelation.

January is a perfect time to listen, because it's the January read-a-long pick over at the Classic Horror Reading Challenge: http://makingsenseofthestars.weebly.c...

50x66 I'm not reading a spooky one at the moment, but I have Frankenstein, Or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley on my iPod for later this month!

It wasn't as creepy as I thought that it would be. I thought that The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters was way more chilling!

50x66 I read The Haunted by Bentley Little last year. Not fabulous, but pretty good. I enjoyed it enough to want to read more from him.

50x66 I love haunted house stories, too!

I really enjoyed The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. It's more of a subtle eeriness, and very well done.

I bought The Elementals by Michael McDowell and The Good House by Tananarive Due on Audible, but I haven't listened yet.
