Ry and Aria ~You are great for caring so much. These are such insightful questions, and I certainly intend to resolve them in Vault 3. I will try to be careful with Thea, her baby, Rosie, Linus, and Burnham, if that's any comfort, but they are fairly deep into the clutches of evil. Thank you for being so supportive about the series. You wouldn't believe what a lift it is when I see your enthusiasm. Now I'm getting back to work. My editor needs a draft of Vault 3 by next week.

You have described it aptly. Later, though, to go from that chaos and uncertainty into the time of revision when ideas gradually crystalize is so deeply satisfying. We just need to have faith in ourselves. So hard to do! Keep going, Ariel. You will certainly get where you need to go with your work.

I try to think of each book as its own complete story, but in a series, I have layers unfolding to work with, too. I don't have the entire story arc mapped out before I begin, so writing each book involves a lot of discovery for me. It keeps me surprised, you know?
