182108 Heyo! I'm Tobias, a 28 year old IT sysadmin from Norway. I recently became a dad, so I don't have as much time to read as I'd want, but I've wanted to read IJ for some years (I'm a big Pynchon fan and feel like Wallace hits some of the same notes).

This week we'll try to just keep everything in one thread. Doesn't really seem pertinent to split spoilers out into its own thread with the low amount of replies we get here.

That said, remember to SPOILER TAG any spoilers for the remainder of the book (ie. anything beyond page 168).

182108 Does Kobo only have percentages? I read on the Kindle, for very much the same reasons you read on Kobo. Percentage is worthless since it doesn't line up with the one in the schedule, which doesn't include the endnotes. Let me know if Kobo uses some other kind of location marker and I can look into making a schedule for that too.

182108 Nice, what Kindle edition? I noticed there were a couple different editions:

Maybe more in other regions too?

182108 I'm a first time reader. As I do all my reading on my Kindle, and people say looking up footnotes is easy digitally, I went with ebook.

Any repeat readers with patina paper copies here?

182108 Oops, is it January 31st already? I'll just copy the threads from reddit and kick things off. Anyone started yet?
