I can probably do some sort of Google hang out or just a face time during a lunch break if everyone gets together in September. I legitimately have no days off that's not a holiday until December 15. I hope everyone's summer has been lovely!

Maybe we can do a google hangout instead? That way everyone can stay in their perspective towns for this one since we're all busy?

I start school again on the last Monday of August. After that, I will have NO days off :( so if we do it before, I can def come. If we do it after, I would only be able to do it if it were after 6

I can't because it is my mother's birthday. I can FaceTime! haha Can everyone else make it the 15th?

Let's just reschedule then?

Since the forecast is showing rain, we will be meeting at Barbara's again. She is at 75 Wall Street for those attending.

I know that I sent out an email to try and get some suggestions for our meetup. However, the emails don't allow for everyone to receive the responses. SO, hopefully members will see this post!

I've gotten a couple of responses so far: The library seems like a popular idea and an outdoors meeting has also been suggested if the weather is good.

Please continue to post on here so that everyone can read along and respond.

Kressel, Passover begins April 22, right? So should you be okay for a book club meeting on April 3? Or what other date would work for you?

That works for me. Shall we put it up as an event and see how everyone responds to it?

It's never too early Amanda! And this sounds like a great idea. Hopefully if Emma does another interview Gloria Steinem style, it'll be here in NYC and we can all go.

So, I'm not quite sure how to best utilize this space or go about our book club BUT, I thought it might be nice to have a section where we can jot down and share topics about the book as we read. This way, when we meet up to discuss the book, we can refer back to this list if need be. Or maybe we'll be impassioned to discuss them here. Who knows.

Also, anyone who might not be able to make it to our meeting can leave suggestions for things to discuss here. That way you can contribute even in your absence!
