A very good place to start when learning about hypnosis is this book. It analyzes exactly how one of the world's greatest hypnotists did what he did. It actually gives a structure to his communications that you can practice and use to create similar results. One effective way to practice is to write down the patterns on cards and practice adding one or two of them to your speach patterns each day.
