I really wish people would see my sexuality as valid regardless of the gender of the person whom I'm currently dating. I feel like I have to justify myself to both sides of the sexuality coin sometimes, and it's irritating.
Ooh, cool, you took my suggestion! :)Well, I'll start us off. It's not exactly a book, but it is a webseries. It's called "The Less than Epic Adventures of TJ and Tamal", drawn by E.K. Weaver. I could try to explain it, but the Goodreads description does it much more justice.
"In the span of a single day, Amal calls off his arranged marriage, comes out to his conservative parents, promptly gets disowned, goes on a bender... and wakes up the next morning to find TJ, a lanky, dreadlocked vagrant, frying eggs and singing Paul Simon in his kitchen."
It's long, but not to the point where it gets on your nerves. But also to the point where you really want more. Five hundred pages of twists, turns, and gay romance. It is a little NSFW, but those moments are pretty evenly spaced out.
It didn't take me too long to fall in love with it. If you're interested, Googling it should bring you to the webpage.

It's nice to have a safe space. You get so few of those in the real world. Of course, it's a little strange that my safe space is a subarea of a book-organization website, but still.
Hope to write again soon!
