I wouldn't have chosen this book to read on my own, but I'm enjoying it so far. I expected it to be similar to "Pretty Little Liars," but I'm pleasantly surprised.
I liked Layla in chapter 1. She seems young and confused, a perfect blank canvas for that Hollywood blogosphere. I'm not so sure about her by chapter 5, though.. she seems a little too "Mean Girls." I'm interested to see how her character develops, and to hear a little more about the mystery.
I requested this one from my library, so hopefully I won't have to wait too long to finish reading it!
