Hi, I'm Abby! I'm 20 and I live in Florida. I love the YA genre, although the last couple of years I've been branching out into regular literature and adult fiction. One of my favorite genres is high fantasy and am currently waiting (impatiently) for the last installment of The Queen of The Tearling trilogy. Some of my other favorite series are The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, the Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series by Laini Taylor. However, my all time favorite series is the massive Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter, I know they're kids' books but I've been reading them for most of my life and I buy a copy of each new book as it comes out. I love books with LGBTQA characters (being a part of the community myself) and I'm always on the lookout for books with magical realism (like the Bone Gap by Laura Ruby or The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman) and anything with witches. I haven't read the Harry Potter books (they were strictly forbidden in my house growing up and I'm currently looking to buy a set that won't break the bank lol) but a friend and I are slowly making our way through the movies for the first time. I guess that's all I can think of for now! I'm so happy to be a part of this group!
