To refresh my memory I was wondering if Mr. D was the guy in the wheelchair. I do reconize most charactures but Mr.D stumps me.

The plot is simple. School boys crash land on a remote island with no adults. The boys set up their own government, with Ralph in charge. But things start to fall apart very quickly.
The set up is perfect. All the boys are perfectly cast, and their performances are strong all around. All the characters are likable in the beginning, which is important because as Roger Ebert (I think) said, a person is scarier when the viewer knows more about them.

Does this book have a story line to it or is it more like "Dave Ramzey"? In other words I would like to know if it gives this info in a story format or in Text format? For what I know this is a good read for me, but I'm not sure as of what format it is in. Also I would like to know if it might talk about getting through College. That would be even more interesting.

Percy is one of my favorite charictors. I don't know if it's because of his powers or if its because of his popularity, but he has many characteristics that are the opposets of mine.

This is a great read! full of fun adventurers/love/mythical beings. Being a quick read this book and the rest of its series holds your attention the hole way through.

This is one of my favorite series full of action quests adventure, and Greek/Roman gods Black Jack also ads a small hint of humor to the mix.

I have not read any other books by Steven King Is this a similar read?
