50x66 Thank you for the suggested author, I will have to check her out! However for the series no I believe this is the only book so far in this title, this is also my first time reading a book like this, but it's really fascinating to hear what people might think when "the time comes." She makes it very clear in the first three chapters of this book that Liz (main character) is living a life full of expectations and disappointment. The book you mentioned seems like a book I would definitely read! Thank you again!

50x66 Do you know anything else about the order other than their name? What is their purpose? (if you've gotten that far.)

50x66 I've been reading this book recently, and so far it's very interesting. Liz is a senior in high school who loves to party, and get out a lot. I'm not very far but so far in this book it doesn't say anything but she might be suffering from chronic depression. I think this because the book starts out with her in her car trying to commit suicide, and she is scared of silence. It is a book that makes you want to read more and more to find out what happens.

50x66 Do you think the book might be tied to the building? Or some dark secret to a mysterious old spell?

No this is the only book so far, I picked this book mainly because I did the one thing we should never do, I judged a book by its cover. It turned out being wonderful (thank god) but I could also relate to the feelings of the main character Lucille.

50x66 Her Dad was sent to an asylum to get better, she and her sister visit him sometimes, but other than that no, her Mom doesn't come back and her Dad is still recovering.

Sure! The books name is This Raging Light by Estelle Laure. The only reason the main character knows her mom's alive is a letter with $100 in it to pay bills.

50x66 I just got done reading a fantastic book about a 17 year old girl who's basically forced to take care of her little sister. The reason her parents weren't around is because her dad went insane, and her mom ran away. Just ask for more detail on this book.
So I want some help finding a new book to read, I like realistic fiction. Please help thank you!
