That makes sense. Cameron shut people out and her power is silence. Mare is always sparky and ready for a fight so she is an electricon.

I personally prefer Evangeline as a better villain.

Evangeline is freaking scary. I think it is totally understandable that Mare didn’t want to poke around Evangeline and her inner circle.

I feel like Mare has other priorities than Evangeline’s secret love life.

Naw man, Evangeline and Elane are my favorite ship. The sudden reveal of the relationship reflects the way that lgbtq people are treated in their society. Do what you want but don’t let anyone know. I have written quite long posts about silver society and their toxic roles, so I won’t bug you with that again, but I sincerely love Evangeline and her relationship with Elane makes her the weakest character in War Storm, but also the most human.

That is a romance though, it is supposed to be like that. But like, Cinder and Iko have the cutest relationship, but Winter and Jacin are also the sweetest couple ever.

I personally prefer ships. Canon ones at that.

Wade says that he still refers to the player Aech as a man because that is the gender of the avatar. I think it counts because they got to know each other as guys and hang out as guys all through the book.
