I first read this thinking it was a light beach read but it ain't. The writing is relatable and fluent. Sexual assault is a serious issue which cannot be dealt with breezily and can be tough to deal with in a novel, Sarah Dessen does justice to the issue while also giving the protagonist a happy ending.
Truly inspirational.
