I plan on reading it this month, when I finish with my current reads. I'm expecting a bit of info dumping being a fantasy (in more ways than one it seems #seewhatididthere), but have seen nothing but glowing reviews and from readers who would generally shy away from books that are sexually graphic. You know it's an incredible series when it draws readers out of their usual comfort zones.

188901 I echo what Elspeth has said above. My coblogger has read and enjoyed the series, but it's quite confronting in it's sexual content for younger readers I've heard and the issue of trigger warnings as well. It's great that readers have a choice of either book to read this month, that way there's something for everyone.

188901 I've already read it and loved it. It reminded me more so of an adventure middle grade, but with older characters. Alex is really sassy and I love that it doesn't focus on a romance to further the storyline as well, but there's a connection there with another character, looking forward to seeing who picks up on the potential romance.

I LOVED Summer Skin. Such an incredible and empowering read for young women. It's been my favourite Aussie lit so far this year too.
