I despise people interrupting my reading. I like to zone out and totally immerse myself in a book and some people (aka my husband) just don't understand that I want silence from them when I'm deep in a book. Sylvie, you are not alone on this one!

192763 Haha. That's so amazing! Come on, they could use a good follow-up.

192763 Anyone ever read Donna Grant's Dark King books? One of her main female characters is a nail polish fanatic, she always wears OPI. So, I apparently feel the need to also wear OPI when I read Dark Kings books. I purposefully go out an buy OPI colors Grant mentions in her books. It's a sickness really ;)

192763 So dang perfect. I can't wait for Griffin's story.

Can we just talk about the top thingy Kenna is wearing? HOT!

I'd read a follow-up to them too, even if they aren't together!

192763 Yes to all of this! Jenna and Easy did have a lot going on with themselves personally outside of the Hard Ink crew drama. Sure Kat had the stalker thing and Emilie had the brother thing but both of those storylines seemed to tie up nicely. Maybe I'm worried about them because Jenna and Easy's issues are long-term, on-going mental/emotional health issues.
Jul 05, 2016 07:35AM

192763 Ok...let's talk Jenna and Easy.

I adored Hard To Hold On To, really I did. However, did anyone else feel like their HEA was a bit tentative? Like it was a HFN (Happy For Now) but not a Happy Forever? Maybe it was the age difference and Jenna still needing to figure out her place in the world...I'm not sure actually. We did get a glimpse of them in Hard Ever After together and that made me super happy, but what about long-term?

Was I completely alone here? Did anyone else feel like Easy and Jenna weren't a slam-dunk like the rest of the Hard Ink couples?

192763 My own playlist for the Hard Ink series: http://romanceplaylist.blogspot.com/2...
192763 Julie Ann Walker's Black Knights Inc. series and Maya Bank's KGI series are similar to Hard Ink in a lot of ways. Ex-military heroes, dual POV, large family units (biological or chosen). Walker and Bank's series don't have an overarching plot like Hard Ink does though. I'm looking forward to other suggestions!
