Yes, we're reading both The Girls and The Reservoir for October. I just put a post up on Reddit and am working on a post here on Goodreads.

This is an awesome series by Naomi Novik that reimagines the Napoleonic Wars being fought with an aerial force made up of dragons and their riders. The writing is in the style of Patrick O'Brian (with a hint of Jane Austen) with amazing combat action and some hilarious encounters as the main character adjusts to his new life in the British aerial corp. I've greatly enjoyed this series and recommend it to any lovers of fantasy or historical fiction who are looking for something a little bit different.
