what?! that's right! She did not say sorry! And I liked Topher too, I guess I had just imagined something more or bigger to happen between the two of them.
yeah it was all wrapped up a little too nicely in the end. Andie was quite mean (and actually was that multiple times?) towards Clark, but it didn't seem like the Topher-Thing mattered.. Am I the only one that was surprised that no drama happened between Andie and Topher? I was expecting a scanda at some pointl! xD
I liked the friendship between the girls and the relationship between Andie and her father. I did not like how Bri and Toby split up over a boy in the end, but I agree with you Janne, their relationship did not seem quite healthy. I actually felt bad for Toby at times during the story. I felt like she was made fun of for the person she was? I think the ending was a little too fastpaced, I feel like there was some stuff that still needed to be sorted out. But I did enjoy the book and it was a great summer read. I gave it 3 stars and I thought it was fine.
So I have just finished the book. I think I will have to process the book a bit more before saying too much. I liked the book and the characters but there were some elements that bothered me a little bit.
I did feel like Andie got a bit too easily away with the whole thing with Topher. I thought that he would have a much bigger influence on story and that there would be some kind of drama between them.
I liked Andie's development and how she could not plan herself out of everything. And in the end chooses what makes her happy. I also really liked the group and their friendship. I also liked the development between Andie and her father.
I feel like the story was a little rushed in the end. A lot of things happened in the last 100 pages and I felt like it ended a little too soon.
The ending was a kind of bittersweet for me, but then again, maybe it was just realistic. That not everything works out as we have hoped. But then again, maybe there is a spark of hope in the end of the book?
Yes! I am glad that I am not the only one that saw the whole Bri-and-Wyatt-thing coming. I thougt that it was pretty obvious and I agree with you Janne, I am surprised that literary no one noticed it!
I really like the story so far. I've had dogs myself and I enjoy reading about Bertie and the other dogs. He is so cute! I like the friendgroup and how supportive they are. Oh and Clark :-)
